The 24-year-old man was taken to a Cambridgeshire police station last night (23 May 2012), where he currently remains in custody, after being arrested in Kent on suspicion of burglary.
Two more men, as well as a 15-year-old boy, had previously been arrested in London for allegedly conspiring to commit burglary and theft, for which all three have now been charged.
Another man from London has also been arrested on suspicion of money laundering, and was released on bail on 9 May (2012).
The stolen objects were taken from the museum’s permanent collections on 13 April. Cambridgeshire police have released CCTV footage of four men and a white VW caddy van thought to be involved, and anyone with information can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or Cambridgeshire Police at email@example.com
